Welcome!
My name is Alina and I am the face of Saorsa Wellness. I am a farm wife and mama in South East Saskatchewan.
I received my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina in 2014 and went on to work for an urban school division for 6 years. In 2020, in the chaos of the pandemic, I found my way back to my rural roots with my partner in a small town in Central Saskatchewan. Since then, we married and have welcomed two beautiful babies into our world.
When I went into social work, I knew that I would eventually end up doing my own thing in the profession. I always thought that my calling was working with children. As much as I will forever love connecting with kiddos and their families, through my personal and professional experiences, I slowly realized where I really needed to be - working with women. Women who need someone in their corner. Women who need someone to recognize that things are hard and walk with them to put the pieces together. The ones that give so much love to everyone around them, but not enough to themselves. As my practice has expanded and I entered into motherhood, I have set my focus to provide counselling services for the perinatal and motherhood populations. In 2024, I completed the Perinatal Mental Health Certificate and completed the required practical hours to become a Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner.
I am to provide professional support to help you navigate the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood and transitions that life may bring. My approach to healing will meet you where you are at right now, and we will figure out the next steps together.
If this resonates with you, I offer a free, online 15-minute consultation to give you the opportunity to see if we will be a good fit. Please reach out through my website - I look forward to holding space for you.
